A Tree Woke up

a tree woke up and watered me

touching my thoughts with greenery

the sun grew bright and showered me

with lots of light and lovingly

the earth stood strong and rooted me

gave me depth and profundity

a river flowed strong and guided me

taught me focus and energy

the sky grew open and blessed me

granting glimpses of eternity

the sea was deep but kind to me

immersing in life and its ecstasy

the harmony around embraced me

whispering to me my destiny

I mocked the sky and polluted the sea

the earth grew silent and rejected me
